Some Of Our Artifacts
The Motor Transport Museum has over 200 trucks of which we have collected in order to preserve their history and for restoration. Mack, Fageol, White, International Harvester, Linn, Diamond T, FWD, Autocar, Divco, Nash, Garford, Federal, Republic and USA.Most all the major truck manufacturers from 1912 to 1970 are represented at the Motor Transport Museum, as well as several rare and very obscure truck lines that have since faded into transport history.
Also represented is nearly every variation of utility body ever mounted on a truck chassis. Cargo trucks, buses, fire trucks, fuel trucks, lumber trucks, wreckers, quarry trucks, milk trucks, road construction trucks, cherry pickers, moving vans, truck tractors, military vehicles and dump trucks are all here at MTM.
Many are functional; some are simply waiting their turn to be restored to their former glory.
Other trucks have been fully restored and are housed inside the old mill, including a 1917 quad used in World War I and 1923 chain drive Mack “C” cab truck which has been used in the movie “The Aviator”.
Shown here are but a few from our collection. We invite you to visit us here at the Motor Transport Museum on any Saturday, to veiw the full extent of our collection.
